Remember Transvideo Studios? The largest video production company in Silicon Valley for years with the best sound stage north of Hollywood? Yeah, that’s us, minus the stage. Picturelab was the creative division of Transvideo Studios for years but then we accepted that we are Picturelab. All of us.
We’re based in Mountain View, San Jose, Silicon Valley, the greater San Francisco Bay Area, but our video production and creative services go beyond that. We have clients all over the world.

The scope and budgets for videos we produce are always determined by our client's needs and applying the level of production value to fit those needs. We produce videos customized to a client's branding and specific message, so not all videos are the same and not all budgets are the same. We are committed to making the best videos for our clients so contact us and we'll provide a customized estimate based on your needs.
The video production process begins with a kickoff meeting where we discover your product, services, brand and everything else related to the project. Then we’ll start concepting, scripting and the entire pre-production process including auditioning and sourcing locations. If it’s a live action video, we’ll schedule a shoot and source locations and actors. If it’s an animated piece, we’ll design the storyboards and construct an animation. Once we have the footage or the approved designs, we’ll start putting everything together during post-production. Editing, motion graphics, color correction, audio mixing all take place during the final phases of the project. Once everything looks good, then we’ll deliver the final video.
As many as it will take…within reason. We set milestones and if you’re not happy with a version of the video before we reach the milestone, we’ll keep working until you’re happy. Once the milestone is reached, and if later you want to go back to the prior step, then we may discuss a possible change order. But within each milestone, we don’t set limits on the number of revisions.
Generally, four to six weeks but it depends on the scope of the project and your deadline. We’ll do our best to deliver a quality product within your timeframe.
